No, we do not have a registry nor do we expect any gifts. We are happy just to share this wonderful day with you. If you truly wish to give us something, we would love a copy of your favorite recipe whether its a jam, sauce, dessert, meal, etc.
The venue is a group pavilion at a state park. The pavilion is covered but not walled and will have wooden picnic tables for seating. The site has separate men's and women's restrooms with running water adjacent to the pavilion. The ceremony will be held at a clearing in the woods nearby. While the pavilion and pathway to it are paved, some areas such as the parking lot and ceremony space are dirt with some uneven ground.
A rehearsal dinner will be held on Friday, September 11th with family members only. On Saturday, September 12th, we would like all guests to be at the venue and ready for the ceremony to begin at 2pm sharp. See the 'Wedding Day Schedule' tab on our website for more details. The entire wedding will be over by 7pm as we will have to clean and vacate the site by 8pm. If it works better for your schedule and travel plans, please feel free to head home after dinner on Saturday. For those who wish to stick around, we will visit a brewery or bar later that night and have a brunch the following morning on the 13th. We will provide more details on the after-party and brunch as we get closer to the wedding.
If you’re flying in, the closest major airport is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Massachusetts. From there, we recommend renting a car for an 1hr and 15min drive to the venue. The Manchester Regional Airport (MHT) is the closest airport to the venue but has limited flights
For hotels, we recommend staying in the city of Manchester. Apologies, but we will not be offering a hotel block. The city is about 30 minutes from the venue and has a variety of hotel options at different price points if you plan to stay overnight. Main st. has a variety of dining options and shops as options for your stay.
For camping, if you want to be ambitious, Pawtuckaway State Park has wonderful options right next to the lake. 🙂
We'd love for you to bring your pet. Leashed pets are permitted in the pavilion and on hiking trails as well as the nearby campgrounds and cabins. Pets are not permitted at the nearby beach day-use area. See the NH State Parks website for more information. We ask that if you do bring a pet, that they are well behaved and that you clean up any messes they might make.
